Beauty can sometimes be found in some of the most unlikely places. This is the fulcrum on which Tess LiVolsi Amoruso’s latest exhibition, PEEL, turns. Through her photographs of dilapidated warehouses and landfill throwaways, LiVolsi Amoruso exposes the hidden industrial underbelly of modern life, a place where decay runs rampant, yet beauty endures. “I attempt to peel away my preconceived notions of what is beautiful and simply engage…I am simply documenting and accepting these objects as they are…,” says LiVolsi Amoruso.
